The first time I used the mop the handle bent. You need to push on the handle to "spin" the mop to remove excess water. So now I have to be very careful when spinning the mop head. Otherwise, I think it is a great product. They just need to make the handle out of sturdier materials.

I was skeptical that this might be some kind of "as seen on TV" made in China kind of junk, but surprise, surprise I really like this mop. It's even kinda fun to use and the candy pink color makes me smile. I have three older dogs and two cats which means mopping several times a day (thank heaven for tile floors). Over the years I have tried every kind of mop out there and none of them ever really made my life easier. I figured there had to be a better way so the Great Mop Hunt began and I found this. A spinning mop sounded cool so I thought I'd give it a whirl (sorry, had to). It is very similar to another invention that brought great joy to my life...the salad spinner! Soggy lettuce no more, instant dry, man how I love that thing. Well, I'm beginning to love this thing as well. It is much sturdier than I thought it would be and the bucket size is more than adequate for mopping a 11' x 22' room. It does have a tiny bit of a learning curve...yes, a learning curve for a mop...just make sure all of the mop head is in the basket before spinning so water doesn't mist all over the place. It has a brake lever that stops the spinning and allows the mop pole to adjust from short to full size. The mop head pivots and goes flat and is a good size to get under things I never was able to before. It picks up fur and other detritus well, not to mention how awesome it is not having icky pee water drip on my toes because I don't have to hand twist it. Best of all there is hardly any drying floor downtime because my final swipes are with an almost dry mophead via the spin factor. Changing the mophead was easy once I figured out you just pop one out and pop the new one in. There is a German-made spin mop with a cage over the spinning basket part to stop water from flying out which I might try when this wears out (because in my house there is not a mop in the world that won't wear out eventually) but it doesn't have the same kind of disc mophead, which I'm getting attached to. I just hope refills aren't hard to come by when I need them. Anyway, long to short, I'd definitely recommend this.
