 Works great - very happy - saving me a fortune in new brasSep 06, 2009

I am pregnant and rapidly growing out of my bras. I bought some new bras but within weeks they were also getting too small. It is a real nuisance and obviously expensive. I decided these extenders were worth a try to save some money. Additionally, I hate bra shopping.
I very nearly purchased another Amazon.com product before I spotted these. The other product was (relatively) substantially more expensive, so I am glad I didn't. Also, this product comes as a set of three (in 3 different colors), which is very useful.
I have no complaints about these extenders. What is advertised arrived, and came without any hassle. All on time.
I found that I have to use the extender on one of the less extended settings. Otherwise, my bra doesn't sit correctly and looks odd from the front. It doesn't really feel secure either. I should imagine that this is the case with all bra extenders. The "least" extended settings gives me about an extra 1-1.5 inches of width.
Using the least extended settings has made an enormous difference in my comfort levels. However, if you just wanted to extend by 1/2 inch, you would need another product.
I don't find the extender is itchy at all.
I also discovered that I could wear the extender with one of my two hook bras - the distance between hooks was the same as in my three hook bras. The extra extender material didn't look particularly neat from behind when I was only wearing my bra - but generally I don't go around without my top on so I really don't care! It felt ok and was secure all day.
I think that for the cost of approximately 1/2 of a cheap bra, this item pays for itself and its shipping almost immediately.
Not sure it matters, but all my bras for pregnancy are non-underwire.
Update: As at 21 November.
I am still using these extenders on the same bras I had a few months ago - despite the fact I am now full term and ready to pop. What a great buy!

I was so excited to find these...however I got them today and I was very disappointed!
I am 6 months preggo and my bras are getting tight so I thought this was the perfect solution.
Wrong...all of my bras are 3 hooks but this was much wider than my bra itself. The extender is about 2" wide so beware! You should also beware of the fact that it automatically adds about an 1 to 1 and 1/2" on the closest hook.
It would be great if it was the correct size and all...

Okay, so I bought the "too expensive" Victoria Secret bras, and had them "professionally" measured - only they were TIGHT! I couldn't move in them. I could hardly get them on! Ouch!
Well, I could have taken the bras back, but I rather liked them...so this became the best solution - bra extensions. These extensions are the difference between "professional" fit and "personal" comfort.
I purchased the 3 hook style, but they also come in the two hook format, and probably the single hook format as well. For those whose weight bounces around a lot, bra extensions could become a valued remedy. I'm certainly happy with mine!

I do not know how I ever lived without these. After my daughter stopped breastfeeding I was left with a 40D bra size, I was previously a 36c, so I had to buy all new bras. For any women out there who have a larger chest you know how hard it is to find cute bras, or push ups for a larger size, in fact even Vickie Secrets does not carry 40D in store anymore. They do however carry 38D, which I can now buy with confidence knowing I can add my extra inch or two when I get home. In fact my next trip there I will be bringing one of these extenders with me to try on bras in a couple of weeks. I do agree with one other comment I have seen on here, this is not for someone who needs to add 1/2 an inch, this is to make a bra at least one size bigger (i.e. 38D - 40D) For me its the perfect solution for my situation......thank you thank you thank you whoever invented these, my little miracle!

Great fit. Fits on any bra with 3 hooks. From simple non-known brands to well-known name brands (ex. VS.) Gives 1.5-2.5 inch extra leeway. Easy to wash (in a little laundry mesh bag.) Soft and comfortable. Great if you need more room in your bra (or bodysuits with 3 hooks.)
